Getting started
How do I add my first task?
Press the + button, or ⌘ + N on Mac. Type the task and press Enter. Drag it onto a day to give it a time.
Can I import from another app?
Yes. Connect Google, iCloud or Outlook calendars in Settings. Tasks can be pasted as a list, one per line.
How does the weekly review work?
On Sunday evening Sola asks four short questions. It takes about five minutes and ends with a plan for the week.
What happens to unfinished tasks?
They move to tomorrow on their own. You can turn this off in Settings → Tasks.
Does Sola work offline?
Yes. Your week is saved on your device and syncs when you’re back online.
Sync and devices
Why don’t my devices match?
Check that you’re signed in with the same account on each device. Sync needs the Pro plan.
How fast is sync?
Usually within a second. On slow connections it can take up to a minute.
Can I use Sola on Windows?
Windows is in beta. Join it from the download page. Linux and Android are coming next.
Is my data private?
Yes. No ads and no tracking. Your notes are encrypted at rest.
How do I export my data?
Settings → Account → Export. You get a file with your tasks, events and notes.
Billing and account
How do I cancel Pro?
Settings → Account → Plan → Cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period, then move to Free.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of a payment. Write to us and we’ll refund it.
How do I add people to Team?
Settings → Team → Invite. Each person is billed from the day they join.
Is there a student discount?
Yes. Students get Pro for half price. Write to us from your school email.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account. We remove your data within 30 days.
